*Yvonne Ward of Western Australia – Exhibition pieces.* *Yvonne has kindly given us her instructions for painting the Dolphins.* *First Firing: Grey Lustre Fire* *Second Firing: Another coat of grey luster on the fins and tail and light blue luster on the body and the wave. Fire* *Third Firing: MOP Lustre on the wave; Grey on the finds and tails. Eyes were painted with black. Fire* *Fourth Firing: MOP luster all over except for the eyes. More black on the eyes. Fire* When Yvonne applied the Lt Blue Lustre to the body, she applied it too heavily and the lustre spotted. At first she was horrified but in hindsight, as you can see in the photo, it did work as the effect looks very effective. *Yvonne sold her Dolphins and the Surfer on the tile.*
